ABMS Academy of Business Management in Switzerland, founded in the Canton of Zug in 2013 (Registration No. CHE-163.990.284), recently underwent an intensive, full-day institutional inspection conducted by ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities).
ABMS is a private, independent academy in Switzerland and operates as a branch of the ISBM International School of Business Management in Lucerne, Switzerland – allowed to operate independently by the Cantonal Board of Education – and is part of the Swiss International University (SIU) network since 2025. SIU is a state-accredited institution licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (KG), ensuring that every degree awarded through the network is legal, recognized, and accepted worldwide.
Why ASIC’s Inspection is Significant
ASIC is one of the most respected and widely recognized accreditation bodies in global education – officially recognized by the British Government, listed in the U.S. Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) International Directory, and a member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) and the British Qualifications Framework (BQF).
Its inspections are not symbolic. They are rigorous, evidence-based reviews comparable to regulatory audits, ensuring that institutions meet the highest standards of academic quality, governance, infrastructure, and student support.
The Scope of the ASIC Review
During the inspection, the ASIC auditor carried out a comprehensive assessment covering:
Academic Excellence – Evaluating the quality, relevance, and global alignment of programs.
Governance & Compliance – Reviewing policies, leadership accountability, and adherence to legal frameworks.
Facilities & Infrastructure – Assessing the adequacy of resources to support effective and innovative learning.
Student Support & Wellbeing – Ensuring students receive full academic and personal guidance.
ASIC is known for its strict, impartial, and uncompromising approach to quality assurance. Institutions that do not meet its demanding standards risk losing accreditation, making successful completion of the inspection a strong endorsement of our transparency, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Part of a Network with Over 25 Years of Experience
The SIU network began in 1999, offering on-campus programs, and has been a leader in online learning since 2013. With offices in major cities including Bishkek, Zurich, Dubai, Riga, and Lucerne, and more on the way, the network combines global reach with strong local roots in Switzerland.
Our Commitment to Quality Education
At ABMS, our mission is to provide private, independent business management education in Switzerland while benefiting from the international recognition and quality standards of the SIU network. Our students can be confident that their studies meet the highest international benchmarks and that their qualifications are respected worldwide.
Quality assurance is not a one-time milestone – it is a daily responsibility we uphold with dedication.
