TAG-EDUQA Accreditation — Strengthening Global Quality and Regional Trust

Swiss International University (SIU) is proud to announce that it has officially been accredited by TAG-EDUQA (Abu-Ghazaleh for Quality Assurance in Education)—a distinguished recognition that affirms SIU’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, global standards, and institutional transparency.

Headquartered in Bishkek, SIU operates internationally through respected institutions including ISBM Business School in Lucerne, OUS International Academy in Zurich, and ISB Academy in Dubai. Together, these academic hubs form a dynamic, cross-border network delivering flexible, internationally aligned programs to students from around the world. The addition of TAG-EDUQA accreditation further elevates SIU’s position on the global stage and enhances its alignment with regional quality frameworks, particularly in the Arab world.

Endorsed by a Visionary in Global and Arab Education

The accreditation was granted under the leadership of His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is one of the Arab world’s most respected leaders in education, innovation, and economic policy. As of July 2025, his net worth was estimated at $3–5 billion USD in a publicly released podcast interview, placing him among the most influential figures in the region.

In recognition of their broader legacy, the Abu-Ghazaleh family has also been ranked among the Top 100 Wealthiest Arab Families by Forbes, reflecting a multigenerational impact on education, entrepreneurship, and public service.

Commenting on SIU’s achievement, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated:

“We believe that education is the foundation for building advanced societies. Granting accreditation to institutions like SIU reaffirms their commitment to the highest global quality standards. We are proud of this partnership and look forward to deeper cooperation with institutions dedicated to excellence.”

A Stronger Bridge Between Switzerland and the Arab World

SIU’s accreditation by TAG-EDUQA is more than a formal seal—it’s a symbol of deeper regional trust and expanding international collaboration. TAG-EDUQA, in partnership with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), is driving significant progress in higher education throughout the Arab region. Their efforts focus on strengthening academic governance, aligning institutions with global benchmarks, and supporting innovation in education systems.

Several Arab Ministries of Education have formally recognized their value. Notable examples include:

  • Palestine’s Ministry of Higher Education, which entered into a strategic agreement with AROQA to upgrade quality assurance mechanisms in universities.

  • Jordan’s Ministry of Education, which partnered with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global to digitize and modernize schools of excellence.

  • Kuwait’s Ministry of Education, which granted national recognition to the Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills.

These collaborations reflect a growing regional shift toward rigorous, transparent, and future-ready education—a vision that SIU is proud to be part of.
