ABMS Academy of Business and Management, formerly known as ABMS Open University of Switzerland, was a registered trademark by the Swiss Federal Institute for Intellectual Property. In 2021, the name was changed to ABMS Academy. Officially founded in 2013 in the State of Zug, the institution later relocated to Zurich, Switzerland.

Accredited by the European Council for Distance Learning Accreditation (EUCDL), EUCDL is affiliated with the European Council of Leading Business Schools & Institutes (ECLBS) , ECLBS is a member of USA CHEA IQG / INQAAHE EUROPE.
